The funeral took place in London in April of Mr William Magee, of Notting Hill, who was for ‘2O years the personal messenger of Miss Florence Nightingale. When he retired in 1931 from his position as warden in the King’s Library of the British Museum, Mr Magee said that his real work.was ended in 1910, when Florence Nightingale died.
