Attlee, speaking at Oxford, replying to a suggestion that Labour state its policy with regard to the Monarch. said he did not believe that to be the right tactics. Labour should tackle first tilings first. The leading questions were peace, and poverty. Answering criticism that the Labour members of the House of Commons are too old. Dir Attlee suggested pensions for Parliamentarians.
