RAID BY PIRATES.
RUMANIAN INCIDENT. BUCHAREST, June 13. Brandishing daggers and pistols, masked pirates raided the Egyptian freighter Marbo in the Rumanian port of Braila. Bearing down on their prey in boat* with muffled oars, the pirates climbed aboard, and, after binding and gagging the sleeping crew, ransacked the ship. Not content with rich booty, including valuable carpets and Oriental goods, they stripped the crew, leaving them stark naked. Coastguards and police pursued and fired on the pirates without effect.
