WINTER SHOW.

OPENING ON WEDNESDAY. Arrangements are almost complete for the National Dairy Show, which vvill open on Wednesday and continue for six days, concluding with a spectacular motor gymkhana o.u the King’s Birthday. Never before lias there been such a wide variety of attractions. which include the Te Ante-High School Rugby match, representative hockey, trotting exhibitions, chopping competitions, ring' events, Highland dancing, dog trials, and steer riding. Other attractions include free vaudeville sessions by Kodama, the skilful Japanese juggler, and dancing exhibitions by the two Colcnos, trapeze artists. A special engagement lias been made of Hassan Kalin, who will make thrilling escapes from a jacket suspended in mid-air bv a rope which is set aliglu. He will appear at 7.15 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Mickey the Mouse will lie in constant attendance with his orchestra and Alphonse, the dancing' duck. The lucky samples of vacuum-packed cheese will be sold from a stand in the entertainment hall, where the displays by the Women’s Institutes will lie located.
