CANTERBURY LIBERALS’ VIEW. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 12. The attitude of the executive of the Canterbury brand) of the -Liberal Association towards tlie National Party was discussed by members at a meeting last Thursday night, when the following resolution was carried: —“Realising that the New Zealand National Party is still the same party that so completely lost the confidence of the electors at the recent elections, this executive of the Liberal Association of New Zealand (Canterbury branch), having expressed no confidence in the administration of the former Government 12 months ago, now declines in any way to be associated with the representatives of the National Party in the formation of an organised Opposition Party to the present Government.”
