WELLINGTON STOCK EXCHANGE.

YESTERDAY’S BUSINESS AND PRICES. Active dealings on the Wellington Stock Exchange produced a large turnover, mainly of industrial and trading issues. The markets showed little change, one 'or two losses being balanced by gains in other shares. Bank shares were dull, and Commercial ot Australia eased on sales from 19s 2d to 19s. Buyers weakened on New Zealand ordinaries to 44s 9d, the D long term mortgage issue being easy at 29s Id. Australasias were firm at £ll I4s, sellers asking £l2. E., S. and A. Bank were wanted at £6 4s. New Zealand Insurance were firm at G3s, no sellers showing. Australian Glass moved up on dealings at from to 945. G. J. Coles were steady at 79s 9d to 80s. Wilsons Cement were easier, sales being made at 455. Mount Morgan recovered sharply to sales at 15s 4d and 15s 6d. YESTERDAY’S QUOTATIONS.
