ACCIDENTS
INJURIES TO FOOTBALLERS. With four players definitely on the casualty list, and several others nursincr minor injuries which have not, however, prevented them from taking the field, the Massey College football team had two more players put out of action during the Rugby match with Victoria College at Palmerston North yesterday afternoon, E. (‘ Curly ) Fletcher,' who is well-known to Rsgn.v enthusiasts in the Manawatu, suffered an injury to the front of his left leg just below the knee, a fairly extensive' part of flesh being lacerated to the
1 bone. An operation was carried out last evening to aid the healing piocess, but it was stated that he may be ten days or so in the Hospital. This is the second injury IHetcher has received in three matches this season.
