The New Zealand racehorse Erua, which arrived by the Wauganella received injuries after lus arrival which necessitated attention by a veterinary. Tli© hors© was severely cut and was bleeding freely. Another New Zealander, Wagner, was landed in good order and went to his trainer, Fred. Williams. Fidelity, the champion two-year-old filly of the present racing season, was seriously injured in her paddock while spelling, fracturing her pelvis. T ldelity will not be able to run tins spring, anti her prospects of racing again are indefinite.
