ROYAL LEVEE.
KING’S STATE DRIVE. Received Alay 27, 9.30 a.m. LONDON, Alay 26. Wearing a Field Marshal's uniform, King Edward made his first State drive in the Royal coach with the Sovereign’s escort from Buckingham Palace along the Mall, which was lined with cheering crowds, to St. James’s Palace, where he held the levee.
