Mr J. Galloway, M.A., Of Uangiora, is visiting bis parents, Mr and Mrs J. It. Galloway, Karaka Street, Palmerston North. The death occurred yesterday morning of Mr IV. N. Stephenson, an architect of New Plymouth, lie was keenly interested in many sports, and was the president of the Taranaki Boxing Association. Colonel Constantine A. Minenkoff, who died in Wellington last week at the age of 67, was lormevly an officer in the Russian Imperial Guards and saw considerable service with Russian forces in the Far East, receiving numerous decorations for bravery. Rev. John McCa.w, who had lived in Wellington since liis retirement from the pastorate of the Presbyterian Church at Upper Hutt eight years ago, passed away yesterday. Mr McCaw was 77 years of age and had been in the ministry 44 years. As a home missioner, be was stationed for 13 years at Tuapeka West (South Island). At Mangaweka he was ordained into the ministry of the church and from there he went to Levin before being called to Upper Hutt. Mr McCaw was a brother of Rev. James McCaw, former Presbyterian minister of Knox Church, Lower Hutt.
