THE ADMIRALTY.
EAST INDIES STATION. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 13. The Admiralty announces that, owing to illness, Vice-Admiral F. F. Rose, C. 8., D. 5.0., Commander in Chief of tlie East Indies, is returning to the United Kingdom. On liis departure, Captain J. G. Crace, flag captain, H.M.S. Emerald, and Chief of Staff, is to assume temporary command and his appointment as Senior Naval Officer, Persian Gulf, is to be regarded as an independent command until a successor to Admiral Rose arrives.
