The butter market in London during the past week Iras shown a tendency to improvement, and on the cheese market a stronger tone lias prevailed. Current cjuotations are as follow, those for the previous week being included in parentheses:— Butter.— Danish, 100 sto 101 s (100 s). Choicest salted: New Zealand, 92s (88s) ; Australian, 92s (88s). Unsalted: New Zealand, 92s to 93s (89s); Australian, 92s to 93s (89s). Cheese.—New Zealand: White, 57s 6d (565); coloured, 55s 6d (555). Australian : White, none offered (54s to 655); coloured none offered (52s to 535).
