INDOOR BOWLS.
The weekly meeting of the Indoor Bowls Association was held last night when, despite counter attractions, there was a good attendance of members. Several new members were on the carpets for the first-time, and appear likely to make excellent bowlers. Play took the form of a rinks competition three rinks tying for first place with two wins each, the following being declared the winners on points: iSis. Andrew, Bros. J. Manning, H. Turner and R. Stewart (skip). These players will receive trophies next Wednesday: At the next meeting another rinks competition will be held, and all members desirous of taking part in the annual cup game with the Wanganui Association were specially requested to attend regularly.
