PROSPECTS REVIEWED. The Southland Racing Club will hold its winter meeting to-morrow. Eight events comprise the programme, including two trots, and the first race is timed to start at 11.35. The following horses should run well: Southland Hurdles.—The Smuggler, Signaller. Invercargill Harness Trot.—Jackarack, Country City, Lucky Lee. Myross Handicap.—High Glee, Mayarn, Coat of Anns. Awartia Handicap.—Golden King, Great Shot, Milford. Ritchie Steeplechase.—Parasang, Eeclcfechan. Otatara Harness Trot.—Leitrim, Overproof, Roan Duke. Bluff Handicap.—Galleon, Cintilla, Pompax. President’s Handicap.—Travenna, Wall Street, Wild Career.
