SCENE OUTSIDE GAOL
MADAME VAN DER ELST CHARGED. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received May 13, 12.35 p.m. London, Aiay 12. Aladame Van dor Elst, who has been conspicuous for her campaign against capital punishment, was jeered when she appeared outside the gaol during the execution of Dr. Ruxton, who was hanged lor the murder of his wife and a maid. Madame Van der Elst was subsequently charged with committing a breach ot the peace and dangerous driving. Other charges are pending.
