C MR LANSBURY’S FEELINGS
NEW YORK, April 22. A plea for a better distribution oi the essential materials of life as :i means of abolishing poverty and removing the causes of war was made to-day by Mr George Lanshury, who is visiting New York. Calling poverty a “man-made crime,” he declared: There is no danger of scarcity unless we manufacture scarcity.
