INQUIRY INTO SYSTEM. (Bv Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, April 22. Preliminary inquiries are to be commenced by the Industries and Commerce Department at an early date in order to determine to what extent it is desirable or necessary that a searching investigation, as suggested by the member for Oamaru (Rev. A. li. Nordmever) be made into the whole matter of hire purchase and time payment systems.
