THE WEATHER
FINE AND WARM. WELLINGTON-, April 12. .Following is the weather report and forecast, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for the 24 hours ending 3 p.m. to-day: Pressure is high and very uniform over New Zealand, and an anti-cyclone also extends from south-eastern Australia across the south Tasman Sea, while a shallow depression covers the north - Tasman. Winds light to moderate and variable, with easterly to north-east-erly predominating, but southerlies in the southern districts. Weather still fine and warm genererally, but some isolated local rains probable, more especially' in the far north and south, and misty at times on parts of the East Coast. MANAWATU RIVER GAUGE.
