(From Our Own Correspondent.) KELVIN GROVE, April 11. Thero was a good attendance at the fortnightly euchre party held in tho hall on Wednesday night, the winners being: Ladies’ first" prize, Mrs Powell; men’s first, Air Astwood; ladies’ consolation, Mrs Riley; men’s consolation, Air R. Gore. After supper, dancing was indulged in, tljo music being provided by a profess:onal orchestra. Mrs Draper lias returned homo after a holiday spent in A\ 7 oodvi!lo. Mr AAL T. Jones is at present staying in Nelson. The weather during the past week or so. lias been very cheering aftor iho unseasonable conditions tfiat wo have had earlier this year.
