WIN FOR CANTERBURY. i Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 11. The University rowing eights were held this morning over the Korokoro course in perfect weather. The 6ea was practically flat and calm, and the wind was negligible. Canterbury gained a decisive victory, with a keen struggle between Otago and Auckland tor second. Victoria College were last. Otago put on the pace towards the finish and drew ahead of Auckland, and were only two lengths behind the winner. The time was 15 nun. 4)sec.
