AN AUSTRALIAN’S VIEW. “NO USE FOR ALARM.” ELEMENT OF .MODERATION. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received April 11, 11.55 a.m. SYDNEY, April 11. Senator Macartney. Abbott, on his return from New Zealand, said he felt confident that witlr the Labour Party in power in the New Zealand Parliament there was no use for alarm, since the party seemed to possess the support of the more moderate elements of tlie community. Senator Abbott added that lie believed the Dominion’s new Parliament contained much good material. He not think that tlie slight anxiety which had arisen as a result of the Government taking over the Reserve Bank of was justified. Mr Savage seemed to be alive to the necessity of moderation in virtually all legislative matters.
