RETURNED SOLDIERS’ TEAM WORK.
New Zealand’s Commemorative Ansae stamps, which are to be issued oil April 27th, are being printed by the Australian Commonwealth note and stamp printing branch, and the work has been carried out in a particularly fitting way. A New Zealand returned Soldier was associated with the artist in preparing the original design, and the Commonwealth Government Printer has informed ' the DirectorGeneral of the Post Office (Air G. McNamara) that every process associated with the production of these stamps has been carried out by returned s.oldiers. They prepared the plates for tlie distinctive design, which involved the intaglio engraving, and 'are,?also doing .the printing. Even the ink-making was done by a returned soldier.
