AIRS PATERSON HONOURED. A farewell was extended by the members of the Pahiatua Presbyterian Ladies’, Social Guild to Airs H. Paterson, who sails on A]>ril 28 A ancouver as a delegate from the AA omen s Institutes in New Zealand to the conference, at AA’ashington, of the Associated Countrywomen of the AAorld. There was a good attendance of members and Airs K. L. AVairen presided. AA r !ien the routine business had been disposed of, Airs AA’arren asked Airs Paterson to accept a small present in the form of a Iwok from the P.AV.AI.U. and the Ladies’ Guild. Airs Paterson, she said, had been a most loyal member for very many years, and was held in very great esteem by all. Tlie guest was then accorded musical honours. In the course of her reply. Airs Paterson said that she had bqen associated with the P.AV.AI.U. and the Guild as long as she had been in Pahiatua. Although she was often away at other meetings she said she always gave her spiritual support. Airs Paterson then thanked the members for their gift.
