CONJUGAL RIGHTS.

JUDGE’S COMMENT. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 7. “In all cases of applications for the restitution of conjugal rights, tbe Court must be satisfied that there is a genuine desire for respondent to return to petitioner,” said Mr Justice Fair to-day during the hearing of a petition for restitution. He said that when a wife left her husband without marked differences of opinion or a quarrel, and the husband did not make any serious attempts to persuade her to return, that naturally cast some doubt on the genuineness of his request. i His Honour said he did not consider it proper to treat these cases as a mere formality. He made an order for the wife to return to her husband within 28 days in the case which Lewis James Kinross sought an order for restitution against Doris Kinross."
