TAX ON PETROL.
CAMBERItA, March 18. In the past five years petrol taxation has yielded the Commonwealth £31,556 682, of which has been refunded to States for road contraction and maintenance. Petrol taxation collections iiave grown from £3,738,000 in 1930, to £7,024,417 last year.
