WOOL MARKET.
LONDON SALES. Received March 17, 11.20 a.m. LONDON, March 16. At the wool sales 9480 bales were offered, including 947' from New Zealand, and 7721 were sold. There was a moderate supply, and quality was below average. Competition was active, but withdrawals were frequent among the low grades owing to limits. The home trade were again the chief buyers and rates were maintained. New ealand. slipe halfbred lambs, branded W.U.E. Co., reached 16)d, and averaged 16(d.
