LONG GAOL TERM.

COMMENT BY JUDGE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. Febl2. When sentencing Fredrick Fahev. aged 36, on 10 charges of breaking and entering at the Supreme Court to-day, Air Justice Fair said the case called for the imposition of a heavy sentence. Repentance had come too late. Fahey had been guilty of a deliberate, calculated, and well-prepared series cf crimes, and it was no case in which a mild sentence could be considered. His Honour sentenced Fahey to three cumulative terms of 12 months’ imprisonment, making three years in ail, and in addition declared him an habitual criminal.
