Miss Randolph, of Palmerston North, is visiting Wellington. Mr and Airs W. A. Sutherland, of Palmerston North, are on holiday for a month at Plimmorton. Visitors to the National Park during the past week included Air and Airs It. S. Abraham, Airs Hewitt and Mies Abraham, of Palmerston North. Mr and All's B. Keillor returned to Palmerston North to-day after visiting.-, Wellington for the Young-Alackensde wedding. Aliss N. Off wood, of AVoodville, has left on a tour of the South Island. ' After a holiday at.Paekakarlki, Airs T. Ellery and Mrs G. Hills have returned to Palmerston North. Mrs It. H. Billens, of Palmerston North, is visiting her mother. Airs AV. G. Bassett, senr., St. John's Hill, Wanganui.
Airs K. Sullivan, of Palmerston North, has had as her guests her daughter. Airs L. Crutcher, and two sons, of Auckland. They leturned home to-day. Aliss Banks, tutor sister at the Palmereton North Hospital, leaves at the end of this month for the Old Country.' She will be away for a year. The friends of Airs J. N. Leicester, “Raurimu,” AVaituna AYest, will be pleased to learn that she has recovered sufficiently from her recent operation to be able to leave the private hospital in Palmerston North in which she was a patient. A wedding of widespread interest, which took place last evening in AYellington, was that of Air Frank Kilby, the well-known All Black, to Aliss Dulcie AlcNeil. Both the bride and bridegroom came originally from Invercargill, but had been resident in AVellington for the past few years. Over .TOO congrntulatorv telegrams from all parts of New Zealand were received. The well-known artist, Dame Laura Knight, has been created a Royal Academician, states a London cable message.
