COOL AND CHANGEABLE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Feb. 12. A rather intense westerly depression has been crossing the Dominion and an anti-cyclone is advancing over the Tasman Sea. Forecast: Strong west to south-west winds, of gale force at times, but later decreasing. Weather : Cool and changeable, with showers in places. Seas rough. MANAWATU RIVER GAUGE. Noon. —3ft.
