SHORTHAND SPEED.
CERTIFICATES OBTAINED. Advice has been received from the 'I.P.S.A. that the following pupils from Miss Anderson’s New Era School _ of Shorthand were successful in obtaining speed certificates: —Flora McPherson and H. I. Bowler, 120 words- per minute: Jean Christie and Clara McCulloch. 100 words; Kathleen Arlidge, 90 words; Cecile Bagnall, 70 words; Caro Packer and Kathleen Coyle, 60 words. Cecile Bagnall, Jean Christie, and Clara McCulloch were also _ successful in passing tKe Public Service junior entrance examination for shorthandwriters and typists, and Gladys Lawson the senior examination.
