SAD FATALITY
LITTLE BOY’S DEATH. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 11. The two-year-old son of Mr Alf Briistad, of Waiau, was drowned in a sheepdip at his father’s borne to-day. Tire cliild was with his father in the wool slied arid was umfoserveti for a few minutes He was found 10 minutev? later in the wool shed. Resuscitation measures failed to restore animation and a doctor was called immediately, but the child was dead. The child’s mother, well known by her maiden name, Miss Aroha Clifford, died when the baby was born.
