MOTOR FATALITY

MAN LOSES LIFE. TWO OTHERS INJURED. Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 11. One man was killed and two others were seriously injured when their car careered out of control for a hundred yards, finally to turn several somersaults on the Wailii Road, Hawera, to-night. The killed and injured are:— KILLED. CHARLIE ARNOLD HAYLOCK, railway fireman, single, aged 29. . INJURED. GEORGE WEBSTER, railway fireman, who lias concussion and injuries to liis back and arm. ALLAN C. SIM, also a railway fireman, who has concussion, injuries to back, and abrasions. Roth the injured men are unmarried. Late to-night neither was out of danger, though Sim was recovering from the effects of concussion. Both had recovered consciousness. The car had just passed another vehicle when it skidded off the camber of the road, bumped over a raised crossing, and somersaulted into a telegraph pole.
