OBITUARY.
MR J. A. V MINNETT. SYDNEY, Jan. 22. The death has occurred of Mr J. A. V. Minnett, aged 81, the father of the well-known cricketing family. He took charge of the stockbroking firm of Minnett and Co. after the comparatively recent death of a son, Mr L. A. Minnett, in a motoring accident. He had previously retired after having been connected with an insurance company for forty-five years. He was born in New Zealand, and came to Sydney about sixty years ago.
