Received January 23, 11.10 a.in. LONDON, Jan. 22. The price of gold is now £7 Os 91 d per fine ounce. The dollar rate of exchange (Lon-don-New York) is now 4.95 15-16 and the franc rate (London-Paris) is 75 1-16.
