(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Jan. 20.

The annual general meeting of the Bulla Cricket Club was held last week, Mr D. O’Connell presiding. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted, the report stating:—; “Th e club had another very enjoyable and successful season, mainly due to fine weather. Twenty-eight matches were played, and wo had our share of wins. The club put on a record score for Rangitikci, 433 runs, against sporting opponents, Marton Junction. In this game the club’s first century was registered, E. L. Jeffries scoring 136. All games were played in tho right spirit and were thoroughly enjoyed by all. Tlie hospitality accorded us when visiting was of the best, and wo have t.o thank the ladies for the manner in which they responded when entertaining visitors here. Our thanks are duo to all members of the club, who gave of their best; also to the Press for excellent reports of all games. Wc also have to thank the Domain Beard for the .manner in which the ground was kept during tho season. Wo hope the fine sporting spirit will continue, making tho club one of tho best sporting bodies in the district. - The balance-sheet showed a credit of 12s 7d, and the club is now -free of debt. The following officers wore elected: Patron, Mr F. A. Holland (re-elected) president, Mr E. V. Wilson; vice-presidents, Messrs F. J. Watson, C. C. Price, K. W. Dalrymple, G. Ellis F. J. Ellis, G. Jackson, E. A. Caklow, 11. Moads, T. It. Willis and Mrs do Burgh; lion, auditor, Mr F. Cutts, senr.; lion, secretary anti treasurer, Mr L. Meads; committee, Messrs I’. Slock, R. Lewis, R. Bromley, W. Fergus and It. Montgomery. It was decided to fix a half-yearly subscription at 2s 6d, tho best part of the playing season being over. The secretary was instructed to write letters of thanks to the Press representatives and to tho Domain Board. A challenge to play for a dinner from Mr W. Stevenson’s employees was accepted. The cricket season opened here during tho week-end, when Factory and Bulls mot on tho Domain in fine weather and on a good wicket. Bulls batted first and looked like putiing on a good score, Montgomery making 22, and Stock 17. Meads added 12, but tho rest went cheaply, the innings closing for 78. Du Frcsne (4 for 12) was the best Factory bowler. Factory replied with 83, Homes batting nicely for 22, and Glcnday being undefeated with 36 to his credit. Meads (3 for 7) was the most successful bowler. A practice was held afterwards. The following scores wore registered by members of (lie Rangitikci Defence Rifle Club over ranges of 300, 500 and 600yds on Saturday afternoon, the light and changeable wind making shooting conditions difficult:—R.
