OBITUARY.
. AIR GEORGE WILLIAMS. The death occurred suddenly yesterday, of Mr George AVilliams, who was born at Cardiff (AVales) in February, 1869, and had been a resident of Palmerston North since 1922. He served in the Boer War and also enlisted in the Great War, being accepted for home service-
Alr AVilliams, who was of a quiet and retiring nature, was a member of the Orpheus Society for some years. He was operated on at the Palmerston North Hospital on January 13 and, after apparently being well on the road to recovery, collapsed and passed away. He is survived by his widow, to whom the deep sympathy of their friends will be extended. Sisters of Air AVilliams are Mesdames Lewen (North Auckland), W. Shepperd (Alilford), and A. Tantrum (Hakaru, Auckland).
