AUSTRALIANS’ SCORES. SACRAMENTO, Jan. 18. Bolger played a line opening round in the annual Sacramento 3000-dollar open golf tournament to-day, scoring 74, two over par, and three strokes behind Melilhorn, who has a 71. Other Australians’ scores were: Naismith 76, Richardson V 7, Kelly 78, Ted Naismith 80. Cohen 81, Campbell 88.
Melilhorn maintained his lead with a 71 in the second round, making a total of 142. Second round scores and totals of the Australians are: George Naismith, 75, 151; Bolger, 77, 151; Ted Naismith, 72, 152; Kellv, 79, 158; Cohen, 80, 161; Campbell, 86, 174.
