He won the English Derby with Captain Cuttle in 1922, and with Coronach in 1926. He owned homes in Sussex, Morayshire, Herefordshire. London, and at Newmarket. He was created i baronet in 1920. and in 1931 received the G.C.V.O. In 1922 lie was made a baron. J here is no heir to the title. Lord AVoolavington gave large sums to various bodies, including £50,000 for the repair and restoration of St George's Chape and £125,000 to Middlesex Hospital both in one year.
