MIDNIGHT MASS.
OUTDOOR SCENE. CLEVELAND (Ohio), Sept. 25. More than 150,000 people watched Archbishop Arnleto Giovanni C'ioognnni, Ambassador of the Pope to the United States, conduct a midnight Pontifical Low Mass at the Cleveland stadium as part of the seventh National Eucharistic Congress. More than half the congregation carried lighted cadles, which provided illumination for the vast outdoor cathedral. with the exception of a few spotlights which played on the glassenclosed altar.
