PERSONAL.
Mr F. Litchfield lias been appointed Deputy Official Assignee, for the district of which Palmerston North is the centre, in succession to the late Mr C. E. Dempsy. Mr and Miys R. A. Noedl left Auckland by the Niagara to-day en route to the Commonwealth, where they will make a tour extending over several months. Constable E. G. Sutherland, formerly of Wellington, lias arrived at Palmerston North where he will replace Constable A. B. Collinge, who has been transferred to Auckland. The Gazette announces the appointment of Messrs H. D. Acland and J. D. W. Ormond, and Sir W. Perry as producers’ representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board. Constable C. Mcßae, who has been court orderly at the Magistrate’s Court, Wellington, for the past three years, will leave shortly to replace Constable B. Warren at Levin.
Mr H. Leon Wilson, 8.A., who 1 lias been headmaster of the Marton District High School for over 12 years, has been appointed headmaster of the St. Clair School, Dunedin, and will leave Marton in January.
