CURRENT POSITION. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. 24. Exchequer returns show that tlio total of ordinary revenue, excluding self-balancing items, amounts to £277,522,070, as compared with £265,016,512 at the corresponding date of last year. Receipts from income tax and estate duties are £96,108,000, as against £89,037.000 at the same time last year, but receipts from surtax are £2,600,000 less at £5,610,000. Idie total ordinary expenditure, exclusive of self-balancing items, is £333,368,957, as against £316.232,759 at the corresponding date of 1934.
