ELDERLY COUPLE ROBBED.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 25. The house of an elderly deaf couple in Newton was entered by burglars last night while the occupants slept and over £SOO was stolen, mostly in notes and some old gold. The hats of the man and his wife were found nearby. The burglars presumably departed in disguise.
