DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Sept. 25. Criticism of the lack of uniformity in the penalties imposed on intoxicated motorists was made by Air A. E. Ansell, AI.P., at the annual meeting of the Otago Auunnobile Association. He said tbe class of motorist known as intoxicated should receive his education behind prison bars. Mr Ansell said he was astonished at the variety of penalties inflicted, and considered that the Magistrate had been wrong in suppressing the name of a woman motorist recently convicted.
