Twenty town criers from England and Wales took part in the annual competition at Barry. A procession was formed from Barry Island Beach to 'Romilly Park, where 10,000 spectators attended the judging. Mr Gomer Thomas, of Abertridwr. Glamorganshire, the holder, who was also champion in -1925, was again chosen as champion. Let’s tell you of a special white Bemberg boiling silk.
