EXCELLENT CONCERT.
ST. DAVID’S TENNIS CLUB. The concert and community sing held by the St. David’s Tennis Club in the Coronation Hall, Terrace End, this week, attracted a large attendance. An attractive programme was presented as follows:—Overture, 2ZO Orchestra (conductor. Mr J. Dale); recitation, Miss Whitaker; instrumental item, Miss Currin ; wheelbarrow marathon, Messrs Ho'mcs and Townshcnd; instrumental item, Miss Joan Maunder; tap dance. Air Al'en ; duet, Misses Ah Day and AT. AValker ; saxophone, Air A. Keen; ventriloquist, Air King; musical sketch, “House Hunting.” concert party; selections, 2ZO Orchestra.
Community singing added to the brightness of the function, and the performers were warmly thanked for their items.
