PREMIER’S CHALLENGE.
CHARGES BY MR LANG. SYDNEY Sept. 11. In the Legislative Assembly the Leader of the Opposition, Mr J. T. Lang, moved a motion of no-confidence accusing-the Government, and particularly the Premier, Mr B. S. Stevens, of exercising nepotism in providing jobs and contracts a.nd t failing to canv out unemployment relief promises. Mr Stevens, in reply, said that Mr Lang’s criticism, as usual, was lull of inaccuracies and ivas misleading. He challenged Mr Lang to repeat his charges in the witness box and also invited Mr Lang and his party to try for once to co-operate with the Government in improving the lot of those in search of work.
