DUNEDIN ARCHITECTS.
MUCH WORK IN HAND. DUNEDIN, Sept. 11. Not for some years has such a bright tone of optimism pervaded the offices of local architects as at the present time. Draughtsmen in all offices are working, preparing plans and specifications for work definitely decided upon and for schemes under consideration. Moreover, the work embraces extensive additions to several industrial premises which, in itself, indicates that trade generally is improving, and that manufacturers are feeling more confident about the future. Two local firms are erecting buildings at a total cost of £30,000.
