50,000 CLUB.
Applications totalling 114 have so Jar been received for a copy of the schedule of duties of the organisersecretary- from applicants from lvaitaia in tho north and Invercargill in the south. This would indicate that tho advertising authorised by the executive has given considerable publicity to the club throughout New Zealand. Additional life members enrolled include Messrs E. R. B. Holden and H. C. Collinson, and there are at least another 10 expected to enroll this week. It is very gratifying to find so much enthusiasm among residents in the aims and objects of tho club, and it is anticipated that it will be of considerable value to tho city and district when it commences active work. Meantime members are being enrolled at the office of Mr B. S. Larcomb, in Rangitikei Street.
