PREVENTIVE MEDICINE
IMPORTANCE OF B.M.A. CONFERENCE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received September 12, 1.25 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 12. The Times says: —The Melbourne meeting of the B.M.A. promises to be one of the most important in the history of the association. The Australian doctor, riu view of his juxtaposition to the temperate and tropical zones, has a livelier sense than the English of the importance of preventive medicine. The discussions are therefore of the greatest value. Brittain and Australian medicine possesses a tradition and character of its own, and has made important contributions to the anatomy of other branches.
