B CLASS STATIONS.

NO AGREEMENT' WITH RECORD COMPANIES. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 13. Efforts by B class radio stations to reach an agreement with the record companies have proved unsuccessful. An offer to pay id for each side broadcast lias been turned down by the manufacturers, who state that they are prepared to negotiate only on the basis ot a substantial annual payment by each station. Cabled advice to this effect was received to-day.
